My baby bug turned 5 months old on Saturday! It's incredible how fast and slow time can go by... at the same time. Whether it is speeding by or crawling very slowly I want to enjoy every single moment I have with her. She is just THAT precious! Right now she is doing this thing
where she sucks on her top lip with her tongue out (see picture). It's really funny. I'm sure it's because she's teething but who knows, maybe she's just trying to make mommy laugh and that she definitely does! She seriously cracks me up atleast 3 times a day. What a great medicine!

We bought her a "jump-up johnny" the other day...except our brand is called the jump & go exerciser. She isn't too sure about it yet. She's okay as long as mommy is within range but after that you can forget it. I thought it would be a really good "activity" for her because she needs to use her legs more but she just hangs there. I guess she hasn't figured out the whole jumping thing yet. I hope she does soon though, it will be so cute!!! It's a pretty neat little gizmo. The little toy contraption lights up and plays music. It's also removeable. And you can hang toys from two loops located on the straps. Pretty neat-o. It sounds like I'm trying to sell the thing.

Anyways, things are going well. We had lunch with a MAF dude (Ralph) and his wife (Valerie) on Sunday. It was pretty good. It helps to get ourselves refocused when time kind of robs us of our vision. It was especially nice because it's usually just Ralph that we meet with when he's in town but this time it was him and his wife. I got to talk to her about what life will be like overseas and what my roles will be as a wife of a missionary pilot. We talked about kids, schooling, housing, having more kids, shipping furniture and tons more. It was a really nice convo and of course, Anna-Kate stole the stage quite a few times. That little girl is the best conversational piece ever....if you haven't noticed already. :-) But yeah, I'm super glad I got to chat with Val.
Well, that's about it. I'll say more when I have more.
