Geo-caching with Daddy

My husband is always looking for fun things to do whether it be by himself or with his family. He most recently has discovered this thing called Geo-Caching. It's basically a "treasure hunt" without the treasure...well, as far as we've found so far. You find geo-caches on the website based off of your area and it gives you the exact GPS coordinates and a clue. Then you just use a GPS to track it out. It has a little logbook on the inside for you to log your name and the day you found it. It's really interesting and it makes being outside more fun. It may seem stupid but it's kind of exciting because you never know what's going to be inside. The other day we found one that had a tennis ball, golf ball, dog toy, cute plastic heart bracelet and some other stuff. If you take something from the cache you must replace it with something of your choosing.

ANYWAYS, ALL that to say that Daddy took AK geo-caching the other day so Mommy could get some things done around the house. She was all geared up with a hat like Daddy, the GPS and her backpack. They looked so cute.

You might be wondering how it all turned out. Well, she didn't nap that day and wanted to be carried the whole time...and was whiny. Haha. So much for that first Daddy/daughter trip. Hopefully there will be more where they actually enjoy themselves.

Oh wow. I have never heard of that before. It sounds interesting and fun. Hopefully she will do better next time. I hope you got plenty of rest!
