a thursday night

Thursday night Anna-Kate's Neenee (Sean's mom) came and picked her up for her first sleepover! This is the first time ever! that she has left home to stay with someone else. The first time I left her over night was when I had Isabelle-almost five months ago-but she was home and in her own bed. This was a big deal folks! I've always been very, um, unwilling to part with her. HAHA! BUT after this move and chaos that is the state of my house right now I figured it would be a grand idea. Plus, her Neenee is going out of town for a couple of weeks and won't get to see her. So, not only did she just have her first sleepover, she slept an hour away! Wow, I'm cutting thick metal cables here people.

Here she is with her over-sized bag.

Of course, she had to take her Lightning McQueen car for a sleepover too. She loves that thing!

Once sister left Isabelle was out for the count. She was soaking up the peace and quiet on momma and daddy's bed with the sunshine spilling through the curtain.

She was so peaceful!

And what did we do with our night? WELL! we took showers, got dressed and went to dinner! It was awesome. We ate at a mexican restaurant, Mamacita's, and it was delish! Then we drove around the Texas State University campus and it's pretty gorgeous. I scoped out quite a few locations to take pictures and I can't wait! THEN, hubby went threw the McD'a drive-thru and got us both Reeses McFlurry's. If you haven't had one you need one! WAY better than Sonic. No joke. (I can't believe I just said that!)

Here I am with Baby Belle before dinner. She's so freakin cute!

Then, after all that we came home and acted like little kids. Seriously, being absolutely ridiculous! I chased him up the stairs once, he squished me while I was on the phone with a cousin, we had eachother CRACKING UP at lame jokes and come backs. It was all around a fun, toddler-free zone.

Once we finally settled down he did grown-up things online, you know, like changing our address on accounts and such and I pulled the curtain back to get this AMAZING view of the sunset from my bed. LOVE IT!!! I have a feeling I'll be basking in that goodness every night.
