we are moving...

Things are crazy.

That might be an understatement.

Yesterday my husband got offered a job in Waco. We've been trying to find him a job there for about six months. We have wanted to move back for a while now. We told ourselves what hourly pay we could settle for and absolutely couldn't go any less that this minimum number. NO ONE was hiring, calling back or remotely interested. It was getting beyond frustrating. A month ago we finally decided we would pray about it until September 15th and then we would decide if we will move before or after the baby if he still doesn't have a job. So, yesterday.........he gets a call from this amazing company, they gave him a choice to start September 12th or October 10th. And SO, with that, we are moving in 23 days. He will finish his last day at his current job on September 29th and will have off until October 10th. I am very excited to have him home for almost 2 weeks. That will be a HUGE help with trying to unpack and organize before the baby comes. I will start seeing a new doctor around 35 weeks. I have to pack, find a house, move, unpack and settle children approximately a month before our son arrives. It sounds a little overwhelming but I know it can be done and WILL be done. OH, and the BEST part, this job pays more than his current one. So there is NO settling with a minimum wage of what we can barely live off of. It has all turned out to be pretty amazing. I am so excited. I cannot wait to be back with our family and friends...and our CHURCH! Yay!

On another note, Anna-Kate's party was super fun. It was a bit chaotic and unorganized but still fun for the kids...and heck, even the parents who chose to participate :). I know I did! She got lots of fun goodies and was so happy to see her cousins and friends.

I don't know how often I'll be updating over the next few weeks or months. I have even considered doing away with this blog and starting from scratch when I feel like it can be done. I don't know. We'll see. But for now this is what's going on in our life.

And I can't wait to meet my son.
