today we...

...had fun.

I just had to show you the outfit AK wore today. She looked oh-so-cute!!! And I love the colors. The "shirt" is actually a 6-9 month dress I got at Wal-Mart for $3.00! I just had to have it. Thanks mom!





Her hair is finally long enough for one pony. I love it!!! Of course, I had to add a bow in there to keep some strays back but other than that the hair-do was a success.



After looking mega cute and taking a trip to the post office and H-E-B to shop for the upcoming arrival of some family we had fun playing outside in her "house". But this was AFTER I locked us out of the house when I was unloading groceries. I was so mad at myself. Good thing Daddy was in bed sleeping and we could wake him up...but that was BEFORE I realized the back door was unlocked, which it NEVER is! Sorry honey!

So here's AK chilling out in her "house" enjoying a cup of juice. Of course, she found it entertaining to lean forward and place and retrieve her cup on the little corner shelf over and over again.





How cute is that!



THEN later on after a nap, dinner and bath we played outside some more. We had fun passing the plate back and forth through the mail slot. She found that highly entertaining...and I thought it'd make a cute pic.





After all that, she put her fingers in her ears to experiment with hearing (and not hearing) the birds chirp. This is her new thing. When hubby and I are talking and she's in between us, like say in the car, she'll put her fingers in and out of her ears just listening to the difference. It's so fun to watch her learning and "exploring".





THEN, she proceeded to crack me up with THIS face!



Oh my, what a funny kid I have! She's hilarious. She's been doing this lately in the house while she walks around with her eyes closed. I guess she's trying to see how far she can go before she runs into something.

So that was my day with my cute, inspiring, wonderful, absolutely breathtaking kid!
