Last night we found a SCORPION in AK's BED! It totally freaked me out and she slept with us lastnight. She's been napping with daddy the past few days for naptime. She loves it and he eats it up. It's their quality time together I guess...since he sleeps most of the day while she's awake.
But right now she's actually sleeping in her own bed for nap. I went through her whole closet to make sure there were no scorpions in there and her whole room. Hopefully that was just a fluke because if it happens again I might actually have a heart attack this time.
I found out yesterday at the doctor that Isabelle weighs 11 oz! How fun. When we found out that AK was a girl at 18 weeks and 5 days she only weighed 8 oz. I think Izzy might be a little chubber. It's only a week and a half difference and she's 3 ounces bigger. Maybe none of this even matters but I can definitely tell by comparing their ultrasound pics that Bella babe is a little "fluffier" than AK was in the womb at this time. It's okay though cause I love me some chubby babies :-).
I also got my flu shot yesterday while seeing the doc. It didn't hurt, and never does, but I always hyperventilate right before for some reason. I hate pain. I'm a wuss. My arm is definitely hurting today though. I'm also proud to announce that I've gained all of two pounds this whole pregnancy. WHOOT WHOOT! I can afford to gain so little, trust me :). I say this now but I know at my next appointment I'll have put on some pounds because I've been eating for three days straight now it seems. Maybe she's just growing super fast right now. I don't know what it is but I'd like to slow down on the snacking.
This may seem crazy but I've already pulled out my two tubs of newborn paraphernalia. I figured I might as well get a jump start on doing these types of things before I don't feel like it anymore. Plus I really need to go through stuff and see what I won't be using with this winter babe seeing as how my precious AK was a summer babe. I'm even washing all the stuff because it smells like it's been storing for a while. I'll give it another wash right before the baby comes.

A SCORPIAN!!!!??? Holy cow I would be freaking out. I went nuts when we found fireants!! Hopefully that NEVER happens again.
Chubby babies are the best! How much did AK weigh when she was born! Love it how you've already started calling her "izzy" and "Bella" so cute! And 2lbs is pretty amazing especially when she is 11oz of it! Autumn and Aubrey were the same way except Autumn was my fall baby and Aubrey was the summer but surprisingly they were able to share a lot of it. Hopefully it is the same for you!!!
