AK's first hair cut

A certain two and a half year old got their first hair cut yesterday. The picture below shows she took it pretty well with her two suckers and Barney showing on the t.v. in front of her (that you can't see) but I'll spare you the pictures of her face as red as a tomato and tears streaming down her cheeks. Yeah, it wasn't all suckers and Barney.

I debated and debated on whether or not to give her some cute little bangs but then I remembered summer is just around the corner and how bad she sweats when she plays outside so I decided against them for now. I don't want her cute little forehead to overheat. Haha.

So, a basic trim was in order and some tiny layers to make her curls "pop" as the lady put it. It may be hard for someone to tell the difference who doesn't spend a lot of time with her but I can tell and that's all that matters :-). It's more tame and a little less crazy...and a tad bit shorter and EVEN which before it was many many different lengths. That's just how it grew I guess.
