some minor distress

I hate to come to you in such distress but it's my life right now.

Today when I was on my way home from work I got stuck on the toll road yet AGAIN. It makes me SO mad that they created that stupid road to be so tricky. It's theft I tell you!!! My husband wasn't happy with me when I told him. I mean, I understand since we'll probably be getting some kind of ticket in the mail...two of them. The other two times I accidentally did that I was in my MIL's car and she has a textag so that was good. I'd hate for her to get a ticket because of me. Instead, she'll be charged $3.60 for my slip ups. Whoops. It really is frustrating. I have no idea how those toll builders can get away with slyly making it impossible to avoid the toll unless you make a turn. GGRRRR! Like, you HAVE to get on if you miss it. Makes me angry and I'm considering giving someone a call about it. Whom? I don't know, but someone.

ANYWAYS, another stress in my life. My daughter woke up at 1:30 this morning covered in puke. It was so sad. She then proceeded to vomit another 4 times by 5:20 am. I have no idea what's going on but she does have a fever :(. While I was at work today the hubs called and said she vomited again...but just a little bit (in his words). Poor little girl. Hopefully it will go away here soon or we'll be making a call to the doc and possibly a trip to Waco to see him.

Now, for some delicious talk. My husband seriously made the BEST broccoli and cheese soup I have EVER tasted the other night! It was amazing. I have been craving more ever since but he won't make it because he says I'm led by my stomach to much. WHAT?!?! Whatev. I just enjoy good food. He has been such a different person since we've moved here since he's not working nearly as much and isn't as exhausted. He has printed off several recipes that he wants to try. He has executed two, one being the bc soup and another being potato soup. Next ventures are meat loaf (blah), spaghetti, a breakfast pizza thing and a ham and potato concoction. Crazy man. He even wrote out the whole grocery list yesterday and did all of the shopping. I was relieved not to have to worry about it. Not only is all of that good news but lastnight when AK kept getting sick he was up with me every time. Usually he would put in ear plugs or something to keep from being woke up since he would have to be up early for work. But early this morning while I had her in the bath he was taking her sheets off the bed and then when I got her out of the tub and she proceeded to vomit all over the floor he was on his hands and knees scrubbing it clean. Aaaahhhhh, a new love developing for this man ;).

This Saturday my MIL is having her annual Christmas party. My mom is coming. YAY. I'm so excited to have her here. I think Sean will be out of town working. But it'll for sure be fun. We are celebrating Christmas Eve here and Christmas Day with my family. It will be fun to see everyone. Yippee do dah.

Well, I have 22 minutes left and a few more things to do. Until next time.

Poor AK! I'll pray for her to get better soon. Caden did that a few weeks ago and it was awful! Just be sure and giver her plenty of fluids. We stopped giving him milk and only gave him pedialite and he got all better in no time.

Way to go Sean! Can he come rub that off on my hubby??? :D
