BOWS

Well, I worked quite a while on hair bows today. In the beginning, I was quite frustrated because I couldn't get my fingers around the ribbon right and then I kept burning my fingers with the hot glue gun. NO BUENO. But after a couple of screw ups funky looking bows, I started getting the hang of it. It definitely took awhile though, for sure!

After a couple of hours of hardcore work, I managed to complete about 10 bows. Hopefully with time I’ll get faster. I really did enjoy it though and intend on continuing my quest in bow making. Maybe one day they’ll be good enough to sell. Any buyers?

a little princess bow for my niece

I made four of these Easter bows for AK and some little family members

P.S. For some reason, all but one of the pics wouldn't upload the correct way...which is why you see them sideways.

Tia, those are adorable!

You know you can go to a fabric store usually and buy a huge bag of ribbon scraps that are really long, for very cheap!

I have a bunch for scrapbooking. Just a thought

Those ARE very sweet! Great hobby! I've thought many times that I need to make Ainsley some bows. I mean, after you get the hang of it, how hard can it be? =) Good job!!!
