I have this friend... this amazing, talented, God-fearing woman of a friend who can paint like nobody's business.
A while back I won a contest on her blog. The prize was a painting of my choice. I knew I wanted something for the girls room so I sent her a picture of AK's bed skirt so she'd have something to go off of.
I chose to have a verse incorporated. I chose
'May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you oh Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.'
Psalm 18:14
I want my girls to know this verse by heart. I want the things they say and the meditations of their hearts to be pleasing to God. I want them to have a spirit that longs to please the Lord and no one else...gulp...not even me.
ANYWAYS, here it is in it's new home. I say new home because before I FINALLY got it hung up it just sat chillin' out on top of the tv. HA!
