to catch you up

So, I never came back and posted about AK's birthday party. Just to ease your curious mind it was great. She had a lot of fun even though she was really tired from hardly sleeping the night before due to uncontrollable excitement about her party. She loved the water slide, having her cousins & friends there and all the fun presents she got. To see her smile is like the best thing ever.


Isabelle turned SEVEN MONTHS on the first but I haven't gotten around to posting about it yet. I might just wait until she's eight months depending on when I get around to that. She's as sweet as you please though.


Guess what?! Our little family finally got a car! YAAYYY! We got it last Friday and left Saturday morning for Victoria, Texas. Sean has family there so we went to visit. It was so nice to see them. We haven't been since I was pregnant with Isabelle. They finally got to meet our sweet pea and of course they loved her.

We spent a while at the zoo with fam. It was lots of fun and lots of heat. I was happy when we left...in our car...with amazing a/c. Teehee.


I have a feeling we'll be out of town a lot. We love to travel and I'm so thankful that we FINALLY can safely do so.

We're home now and I'm wondering when mommies get a labor day...you know...besides the day they go into labor? I'm trying to withhold from waking my husband up from his nap just to ask when I'm getting one...
