lately...

Man, I go from one "catch up" post to having to do another cause I keep slacking. Things around here have been crazy. From traveling out of town almost every weekend to a Bible study I'm currently doing, I feel so out of bloggy world touch. I'll get better, I promise.

So, what you've missed, lets see. We took the girls on a glass bottom boat ride a couple of weekends ago. THAT was FUN! We'll definitely have to do it again because we were rushed for time as we were going out of town immediately following.





AK is on a super hero kick.


We enjoyed a trip to Waco this weekend. I took pics of AK and my niece Kylee. They are 3.5 months apart and I LOVE that they are so close in age.



While in Waco I went to a JBF sale and scored 9 shirts, 2 dresses and a pair of pants for about $40. Check out the two matching sweaters at the top...er...top/bottom...of the stack. I was sooo excited to get those. I can't wait for AK and Issy to wear them. Teehee. In two more weekends I'm going to hit up the one in Round Rock.


We just found out last Friday that my husband's job just went to four day work weeks. Thankfully he still has a job because there were quite a few people who were temporarily let go. Although I should probably feel a bit anxious about him losing a whole work day, which equals about $530 a month!, I'm pretty peaceful about it and even a little excited that he'll get to spend an extra day with us. I feel positive that it was God's timing for our family and I'm not fretting.

Both girls have been sick for a few days. HORRID cough, cranky on and off, sneezing, stuffy nose. Issy started this up literally right as she was getting over a double eye infection. It hasn't been very fun. Their symptoms usually magnify during the sleeping hours but I've been trying my hardest to combat it. I hope they get better soon. I feel so bad for them when they have those yucky coughing attacks.

Okay, I think I'm caught up now and hoping I can stay that way. Hope you enjoyed our time together ;-).

Since it's only 75 degrees outside right now I'm about to head out and take the girls to the park. I'm so excited about the beauty of it all. EEK!
