With all the tempers flaring I must say the pictures turned out nicely. I like them. Here are a couple of my faves.

head bumping
Today we are venturing over to the coooouwntry (remember) to have our family pics taken by a good friend. I will then repay the favor by taking her family pics sometime this week. We were supposed to go this morning but the sun was not in our favor. We settled for afternoon pics and warm pizza to follow with those great friends. Can't get any better than that! Hopefully Anna-Kate doesn't remember her weekend of many meltdowns while we were there and decide to repeat the whole ordeal again. She is currently down for a nap in hopes of her being super happy during picture time.
picture of her and her friend "Bear" apparently having an important conversation (based on her look and posture). It's sooo funny and CUTE! I mean goodness gracious, look at that face! Hahaha! She cracks me up and most definitely keeps me on my toes...especially since she started walking. It's so weird to look over and see her walking up. My goodness, she's growing up too fast! Sometimes I wish I could stop the time and make her still so I can just sit and stare at her.Sunday, November 16, 2008
jibber jabber
AK and I had a fun weekend at "Aunt Bri's" house. Like I've mentioned before, Sean works on the weekends, so this weekend (Saturday) we stayed out in the country with horses, three rambunctious dogs, two toddlers (including AK), lots of toys and the most comfortable bed EVER. I must say, I totally enjoyed myself...besides the fact that AK decided she wanted to have a breakdown and NOT sleep! That part was rough and NOT enjoyable. I just let her stay up as late as she wanted. I figured she'd fall asleep eventually. Well, eventually never came and I put her in bed at 11 pm and didn't hear a peep from her. Ha. Then Bri and I attempted to watch Get Smart (the filtered version and HILARIOUS may I add) and didn't make through half before we were ready to crawl into bed. We were up bright and early (for us anyways) to get ready for church. It's always interesting trying to get two different families out of one house (atleast I thought so). Bri got lots of fun pictures of the kids in which I can't wait to see! I didn't get too many. Just a couple.

twinkies
I had to share this picture. It's my little cousin, Abigayle, wearing some "dress up" glasses. Abigayle is 7 weeks younger than Anna-Kate and about 4 lbs heavier. Haha! Everyone is bigger than Anna-Kate, my poor little shrimpo. Anyways, Abbi is hilarious. She loves to wear glasses, and THESE glasses are her fave. Everytime I see it I crack up laughing because she's totally serious about wearing them. Obviously, the name Ms. Daisy comes to mind when I look at this pic. It's just hilarious! She's one silly girl.
Aren't they just adorable! I love that they are only 7 weeks apart! Makes holidays fun and interesting. Not only is Abbi 7 weeks younger than AK, but my littlest niece Kylee is 7 weeks younger than Abigayle. Hahaha! Too much going on there.
Now, an update on the moving situation. It's still on. Only 10 days away to be exact. I'm getting more anxious because when I look at my house I freak out. It's nowhere near ready to be moved. I just can't bring myself to start putting a lot of little things in boxes with 10 days left. Isn't that ridiculous! Like, I don't want to take AK's stuff down in her room because I don't want her to be confused about where all of her nice girly things went. If I had it my way I'd leave her stuff as is until the day we move...but I know that's not practical. I just need to buckle down and get it all done.
Not only are we moving four days before Thanksgiving but we are then going to travel to Victoria for Thanksgiving with some of Sean's family. This is definitely not going to be my ideal week. I told Sean I didn't want to stay overnight because our life will be in boxes at one location and we'll have to go from boxes immediately to bags and them come home to boxes again. No bueno. Really don't have the capacity for it at this time. Sorry Charlie.
Gotta go now, AK is being too quiet.
