family pics

Well, they are FINALLY done and I'm so happy to have that over with. I always look forward to taking family pics but then we get to the hours right before we are to be there and I start second guessing-wondering if I should cancel. Things just don't go right for us in "high intensity" situations. And by high intensity I mean running around the house like a mad woman getting EVERYONE ready, including the husband, child and self. It's nuts around here. Clothes are flying, hair bows being pulled out, arguments arising about what shoes to wear, AK getting her tights dirty. I mean, it's pure chaos and very stressful. THEN, we are already running a little behind when I forget THE shirts. THE shirts that are supposed to be worn for the pictures. I refused to let Sean wear it before we got there because I would not be happy about it getting wrinkled. And THEN guess what he did once he got his shirt one.....he ROLLED THE SLEEVES. Men.

With all the tempers flaring I must say the pictures turned out nicely. I like them. Here are a couple of my faves.
