For part one go here.
Apart from AK's "medical stuff"-the rash, UTI's and random fevers we have been busy trying to figure out the next phase of our lives. As you know, the hubby found a full-time job a couple of months ago. We've been in the process of saving almost every penny he makes for our inevitable move as we are living in his mother's home. While saving money we've been on a mad hunt for the place that fits us best. Location has been the biggest thing. We want our family to be safe day and night. So, it has been a long process of narrowing down places, figuring out the better deal on square footage for your money and all the little things that we'd prefer in a place.
THEN, the hubby started having reservations about moving. In my head I was thinking, "are you kidding me? We HAVE to move!" because the house we are living in is currently up for sale. Then one morning he woke up, because he was way off his schedule, and started feeling it even more. He didn't know what was going on and was wondering if it was his job. So, he got online and searched "aviation jobs". One of the first things to pop up was a job in San Marcos that needed an aviation mechanic. It was posted a couple of days after his birthday (I thought it was ON his birthday but he then clarified and said two days after). He wasn't going to contact them about it because he figured they would've filled the position by now but he went ahead and sent them an email and attached his resume. Then he went outside and prayed for a little while and wondered if he should just call. After about 45 minutes he figured he would and the first thing the guy said when he answered the phone was, "is this Sean?". Then they went on to talk about the position and the guy asked him to come down that day (the 25th) for an interview and asked when he could start (if he got the job). Sean drove down that day (an hour and two minutes according to google maps) and interviewed and they told him they'd know by the next day.
So, while we waited I started getting anxious and excited but not too excited because I didn't want to be let down. Tuesday came and went and they didn't call so Sean called them at 3:45...15 minutes before closing time for them. The guy said the bosses hadn't decided yet but he'd make them make a decision by Thursday and he'd know by 4 PM...
...To be continued SOON!
