today...

While my husband is on the front deck doing his part in this parenting journey, blowing bubbles, I have a quick break before he leaves for work. Yay! Today I FINALLY found AK a doctor nearby, instead of an hour and a half away, and I FINALLY set up an appointment to take her to the dentist-tomorrow at 10AM. Lets hope she's up by then since she usually sleeps until around 9:30 or 10 every morning. I'd hate to wake her up but I just might have to.

Excuse the "I don't care if you're taking a picture, I'm NOT smiling" face and check out this dress my mom bought AK from Wal-Mart this weekend for $5. I LOVE it and today I made a bow to match. It's not like she NEEDED a bow to go with it but I wanted to make a pretty navy-sheer one. She also bought the ribbon :). What would we do without grandmas?? Gotta love 'em and the things they do!
Here's a better pics of the bow:

It's cute, but she makes it better :).

Then at one point today, she wanted in her bed. It wasn't even naptime. This was before naptime. She's been doing that lately and I have no idea why. She climbs on the side rail and hangs there until I put her in. So again today, I tossed her in and let her be. Of course, there was a Brainy Baby video on but whatev, she still willingly sat in her bed with no objection. I continued on with housework while she hung out in there. Oh, and she wanted to wear her slippers. Hahaha. My child, I don't know where she gets her little quirks from but I enjoy them and they make me laugh. She is her own little person and she knows what she wants and when she wants it. Eventually, here soon, we're going to have to direct it a little and teach her about patience and such. Oh the joys.

Well, that's all for now. I'll let you all know how the dentist goes.

P.S. She's wearing the same dress tomorrow for her appointment. I washed it and everything...in hopes that it might shrink a little. I even made a second bow-different style-for her to wear with it. I just wanted to give everyone a little heads up incase I post pics of her tomorrow in the same outfit minus the pink fuzzy slippers. HAHAHA!
