Kansas-part one

We made it to Kansas! It actually wasn't that bad of a trip despite what I thought it COULD be. Anything could happen with a 35+ week prego and a two year old.

We were pleasantly surprised by the views we got in Oklahoma. When we went through Oklahoma at Thanksgiving we took a different route and it was anything BUT a scenic route.

At one point I turned around to check on Anna-Kate and she was making THIS face.
Not only is that face hilarious but she was doing this other thing along with it that I got on video. I know there is no way in this world I'll get blogger to upload it but I'll get it on Facebook and link you to it. It's a MUST SEE for sure!

When she wasn't being hilarious she was content playing with her magnadoodle and watching Thomas the Train and The Backyardigans.

She eventually took an hour and a half nap. I was thankful for that! BUT it called for quite the energized one when we finally reached the hotel.

We were excited to see snow literally the second we crossed the Texas border into Oklahoma but were more excited to see even more snow in Kansas (above photo taken in KS).

Thank God for a safe trip!

We will head out tomorrow morning for the interview. We have arranged to be there at 10 AM. We should be done by noon and then we'll have the rest of the afternoon to explore Wichita and possibly take AK to a museum or something. Tomorrow evening we'll visit a church associated with the campus and then we'll head back for Texas on Thursday morning to get back in time for the TEXAS GAME! :-) It's supposed to snow tomorrow and I'm soooooooooooo very excited to see some REAL LIFE wintery snow! I'll be back with pictures.
