labor or not labor?

While I am feeling beyond any exhaustion I've ever felt before I thought I'd stop in really quick for an update.

Tuesday after my doctor's appointment I had braxton hicks contractions all day. I was hoping that I'd spring a link that night and all would be well on it's way. Buuuuut, of course, they stopped and I had just a handful of them from Tuesday-today.

Yesterday I was feeling super exhausted. Wiped out. I've been getting a decent amount of sleep but feel like I need MORE. I've also been more hungry than normal which is putting me at a normal amount of meals in a day. Normally I'm good to have about 3 bowls of cereal all day and maybe a granola bar. But I've been wanting chicken, mexican food, mozerrella sticks. It's funny how that happens.

Today though, I woke up, ate breakfast, took AK to Inflatable World at the mall and then walked around it twice just for good measure. When I got home I was ready to CRASH. I was sooooo tired. I slept for almost two hours and when I woke up I started having contractions. I was convinced they were the real thing because they weren't as bad as my braxton hicks had been a couple days before. I pulled out my books to see what early stage contractions should feel like and everything was checking out. I was dehydrated when I went into labor with AK so I don't really know what a normal, hydrated labor should start as. I had contractions for almost two hours, random minutes apart and then they stopped. So I sit here, still exhausted, with my biggest girl running a fever! I'm so ready to have this baby but thinking about not seeing AK for a couple of days makes me sad...that's only if she continues to run fever obviously.

So, that's my life right now. Being frustrated about this labor process.
