12 weeks

Yesterday marked 12 weeks for me. I am so thankful to finally be at this point and glad to be entering my second trimester soon. It's amazing to see how it's gone from a poppy seed to this. What a cute little lime :).

This week, "the most dramatic development occurs" with reflexes. It squirms when poked or prodded but I shouldn't feel it for a couple more weeks atleast. And it actually LOOKS like a little human which is SO exciting!

I go to the doctor tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2 pm for the first screen. I'll get another sonogram and blood work done. I'm super excited about this because Sean AND AK are going to go with me. YAY! Daddy will finally get to see his 2nd baby and AK will get to see her little sib...even though she won't have a clue about what's going on. I can't wait for her to finally start understanding.

Speaking of AK and understanding, she has actually been playing with her baby dolls recently and it's so precious to watch. They have to have a blanket, just as she does with her "uh-vee", and she tries to feed them the little bottle and everything. ADORABLE. She even has this little mini graco stroller that is the perfect size for her and her babies. She stuffs them ALL in there and pushes them around the house. It's so cute. The other day, before she got the stroller, she was pushing them around in her shopping cart. HAHA! Gotta love the girl. I'm so glad for all this to be happening...instead of her pushing cars and trucks down the hallway walls. :-) I mean, I love that she loves cars but I wanted her to love baby dolls too .

Oh, about me, I've been feeling pretty good lately. Much better. I'm still tired, of course, but I feel like that's even getting better. I'm excited to have energy and a mood free day again. I've been doing a lot more with AK during the day, even though it's like deathly hot outside. I've just been trying to get out earlier in the day or in the evening OR indoors. This week she gets to go to the doctor with mom AND to see a movie. That's exciting! ANYWAYS, I'm feeling fine. Every little tummy pain makes me nervous but things are good.
