AK enjoyed the rain one late afternoon last week. The first picture reminds me of a hippie for some reason. The second pic she is frozen still by thunder. It was kind of funny.
On Friday it felt sooo nice outside that we actually ventured to the park for a little while. It was such a nice and rare occasion around here for it to be tolerable outside. So I took advantage and she had lots of fun.
On Saturday morning we went to Waco. We were invited to a birthday party that afternoon at the Mayborn Museum. We were so excited to go and then Mommy forgot that the party started at 1 and not at 3! So, needless to say we were an hour and 40 minutes late to the party. It was such a bummer because we were really looking forward to going and seeing some friends. Even though we were late we got to enjoy the museum for a little while. AK loooved the fish.
After the party, at my mom's house, AK was CRACKING UP at my nephew. He would throw two balls up the stairs and let them roll down and hit them up there again and she thought it was the funniest thing.
Sunday morning she enjoyed watching some Dora while her Grandma prepared breakfast.
Sunday late morning we went to the flea market for all of 30 minutes before we decided to bale out from the sun. It was crazy hot. Here is AK sporting her sunglasses. How cute is that!
After the flea market we went to this place called the Jumping Party. It's a big indoor inflatable play place. It was SO FUN and AK had a BLAST. We went and picked up my niece Kylee and my aunt met us up there with her daughter Abigayle. Abigayle is 7 weeks younger than AK and Kylee is 7 weeks younger than Abigayle. So nicely planned, eh?! :-) Anyways, they had a blast. We'll definitely go back.
After the Jumping Party we headed back home. We were all so tired! I took a two hour nap and AK didn't nap at all that day...or the day before.
Once we put AK to bed for the night Sean drove me 30 minutes to the closest Taco Bueno because I've been craving it for a couple of weeks. It was so exciting. How ridiculous is it that I get so excited over food! Oh well, it was delicious!!! I was freaking out because as we were turning onto the road it looked like they were closed! Seriously, I was like, "noooooooooooooooooooooooo!". It was 9pm so it was definitely possible for them to be closed but thankfully they weren't and we enjoyed some yummy and cheap mexican food! Hubby even got me an extra bean burrito to bring home and store for lunch today. Awww, so sweet! I can't wait to eat it ;-).
Well, that was our busy and fun packed weekend.

WOW, y'all had a very busy weekend! I love all the pictures especially that ones of Anna Kate cracking up on the stairs. TOO CUTE! Autumn has that orange and pink dress, it looks so cute with that orange and pink bow you made :)
