Anniversary dinner

Yesterday hubby and I celebrated our third year anniversary. He works nights so he slept most of the day but I woke up to some roses, a card, a root beer, some chocolate and peanut M&M's. He's a man after my heart :-). It was so sweet. Then for dinner we went to The Oasis. It was sooo nice. I loved it!

We didn't enjoy our dinner on the deck because it was still pretty toasty outside but we got the perfect spot on the second floor right by the huge window overlooking the deck/water. It was really nice. We enjoyed queso :-) and chicken fajitas for two. UH-MAZING!!! I even enjoyed them for breakfast this morning as well. YUM!

After we ate we made our way to the third level deck and sat there for about two hours watching the sun decorate the sky. It was pretty.

I was amazed at the enormity of the houses located around this restaurant. RIDICULOUS I say. Seriously, millions of dollars folks. Something I just cannot fathom. There was this flyer at the restaurant advertising the area and such saying, "homes starting at $800,000 and lots starting at $150,000"! Seriously?! I'd like to see what an $800,000 home in that area looks like if that's just the baseline price. Probably like a little garage apartment or something.

Before we got to the restaurant we drove around the curvy road just to get a closer glance at the homes there. I couldn't help but notice a sign on the side of the road that said, "Caution: falling rocks". They should've also had a sign that said, "Caution: possible falling house!" Geez man.

After dinner we came home to change and then went to the 10 o'clock showing of Transformers 2. It was hard to follow but I can't deny it action packed that's for sure. It had more profanity than I remember the first one having but other than that, it was nice to be out past our bedtime! Amazing how young I felt. :-)

GORGEOUS!!! That resturant looks like such a nice place to eat. The view is obviously quite amazing. Those houses are so rediculously huge. I would get lost way too quickly in one of them. I don't want to even think of all the places Autumn would hide!
